Nintendo has informed GameSpot that Wario World, the first GameCube game featuring Mario's dastardly alter ego, has been delayed until Q1 2003 and will be released alongside 1080: White Storm and The Legend of Zelda. No specific reason was given for the delay, but Nintendo did state that the new release date would allow it to focus more on the current fall lineup, which includes Star Fox Adventures, Animal Crossing, and Metroid Prime.
