Nintendo: Speed up production!

Nintendo has announced that it will increase its next shipments of GameCubes by 520,000 systems to North America. According to them, they've sold out all 740,000 GameCubes that were at launch.

By March 2002, Nintendo expects to sell over 4.5 million, that's a lot of Cube...


GCN Launch in Europe: Spring 2002

It seems like the Nintendo GameCube will indeed be released next spring in Europe. At least that's what those geniuses at PlanetGameCube said... via GamesRadar.

An exact date, and pricing details were not announced.


Super Mario Advance 2 Renamed

Super Mario Advance 2, a game coming soon for the Game Boy Advance has been renamed Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2. This name makes the game a little more obvious to the consumer. This game though, is a port of Super Mario World from the Super NES, and includes the same Mario Bros. arcade game as the previous SMA.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is here!

Well, it may or may not be. According to Nintendo though, Super Smash Bros. Melee shipped yesterday, and the game should be in stores today, or tomorrow in North America.

That's all I have to say.
