Nintendo Web has a report with screenshots, and lots of information on this late-announced game, that will hit North American store shelves on April 9, 2001, sandwiching the game between the two other Mario releases, Paper Mario and Mario Party 3. Dr. Mario 64 will be released for a price of $29.95 U.S. which is much cheaper than other "regular" releases.

Posted on January 5, 2001 @ 9:51 PM EST by: Tiger
After 9 years of no handheld Mario platformer, Nintendo finally
breaks through on the GameBoy Advance. Nintendo is currently in development of this game, known as "Mario Advance" for now. There is no official word or info on this 32-bit game. However, whats known for now is the release date for this game: March 21st for Japan and July 2001 for N. America/Europe.

So Mario's appearance on this powerful handheld is not just limited to Mario Kart Advance. This looks really interesting, and we will be looking out for any further info on this game if it will appear. And on Warioland 4. Seems that it will be made a RPG game this time! So, we will get Mario AND Wario games. GBA looks to have a successful launch in Japan. "Mario Advance" and Warioland 4 have a tenative release date at the end of March for Japan, and July 2001 for N. America and Europe.
